DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our special CABARET OF HOPE!\nJoin us for a warm\, relaxing night of music and good company at the beautiful Vancouver Unitarians Sanctuary\, on the corner of 49th and Oak. \nDoors open at 6:15 pm\, and the music starts at 7:00.\nTables fill up quickly\, so arrive early to pick your spot. The balcony is open\, with a lovely view of the whole room\, and great acoustics too.  Seating is not reserved/general admission only. Because the music happens in two different areas through the evening\, feel free to turn or shift your chair whenever you’d like a better angle.  \nYummy Bits and Bites will be waiting on your table when you arrive\, and drinks can be bought at the bar in the entry hall. You are welcome to bring your drink to your seat but please be careful with your food and drink in our beautiful space!  \nBuy your drinks in advance\nSkip the lineup on the night and save a bit by bundling your drink with your online ticket purchase. DESCRIPTION:The Chalice Choir presents \nConsidering Matthew Shepard: A Choral Suite by Craig Hella Johnson\nPlease join the Chalice Choir to experience this important work (which we believe to be a Vancouver premiere).  Considering Matthew Shepard  was written as a 20th anniversary tribute to Matthew Shepard\, a gay college student who was murdered in Laramie\, Wyoming in 1998.  In these days of increasing intolerance\, we believe this music to be more important than ever.  The evening will conclude with choir favourites to celebrate Donna Brown’s final concert as Chalice Choir director. \n  \nSunday\, April 28 at 7:30 pm. \nSanctuary \nReception to follow. \n  \nTickets:  $20* available after service on April 14 & 21\, at the door\, or online (see below). \n\n* please note: no one will be turned away for lack of funds!)
