SUMMARY:Exploration Sunday: Communities of Care
DESCRIPTION:Exploration Sundays happen the first Sunday of each month and are meant to be an animating time for the whole congregation. The morning service launches the month’s worship and small-group theme with different explorations of that theme in programming following a light lunch. The intent is to engage everyone in the community-building and learning that this approach offers and make it easier for other groups to schedule events without competing programs. \nWorship Service 11:00 – 11:45 am\nDecember’s meaning making theme is  “Communities of care: how do we ensure that care is integrated into our ways of being together.” We will be hearing stories of care that arose in unexpected places\, and exploring how we give and receive in community. \nExploration Groups 12:15 – 1:30 pm\nThe service will be followed by a light lunch and then Exploration Groups are open to interested folks of all ages. DESCRIPTION:Come together for rest and renewal with food and fun! This will be our second annual Solstice Blanket Fort Dinner. We’ll eat family style and after dinner the Fireside Room will be dedicated to building a blanket fort for storytime and in the Hall we will create an evergreen spiral labyrinth with electric tea lights.
