Everyone is welcome. \nOn April 26\, ’26 Rhea Kikkert will be leading a discussion in the 4th Sunday Book Group on Proof of Heaven\, by Dr. Eben Alexander. This is a book that is an autobiographical description of Alexander’s Near Death Experience\, and one that aims to join science and religion. It describes his experience of the after-life\, suggests that each of us is immortal and that there are no isolating divisions amongst us on earth. We are all connected\, whatever we do or do not believe. We meet at 12:30 pm (after the Sunday service) in the family room (in the Admin building) or online at vans.ca/fourth-sunday-books. Everyone is welcome. \nFebruary\n\nVanU’s Fourth Sunday Book Club will meet on Sunday\, February 22\, at 12:30 pm in the Family Room (administration building) to discuss the book Ron Thom\, Architect by Adele Weder\, a Vancouver based\, award winning architectural writer and cultural journalist. \nThe author has noted this book tells “What happens when an artist becomes an architect.” The book has been very warmly received by the architectural community and the general public. It addresses not only the buildings\, but considers the intricacies of the complex genius who created these master works as well. \nTwo Unitarians who live in a house designed by Ron Thom will attend. All are welcome to join the discussion. \nAnd thanks to the many readers who responded to our recent survey – good news\, good ideas.
