2nd Annual Picnic Under the Cherry Blossoms

Date/Time: Sunday, April 2, 12:30-2:30
Location: Tisdall Park (a ten minute walk from UCV) There is a nice grove of mature cherry trees between 49th Ave and the baseball field. See map below for directions from UCV.
What to bring: folding chairs or a blanket to sit on, food and beverage for yourself, plates, utensils and something to share if you would like to do so. Please feel free to bring words for songs if you would like to lead us in singing! We’ll also try our hands at writing haikus for the glory and transience of the blossoms’ beauty.
In case of rain, we will eat our picnic in the hall and then walk to Tisdall Park with our umbrellas. There are many cherry trees along Ash Street and the pathways within the park.
