This official Heritage building, with striking inside-outside modernist design, comes equipped with state-of-the art sound, lighting, and livestream equipment, flexible seating arrangements, and capacity for over 300 people.

We rent our heritage venues and beautiful campus, with courtyard and gardens, for all kinds of ceremonies and community events.
Whether you’re planning a wedding, a memorial, a concert, a conference, a recital or rehearsal, a meditation or wellness retreat, we’ve got the space you’re looking for. What’s more, we have lay chaplains who can help plan and conduct your special ceremony.
Apart from our world-class sanctuary, we also have a compact banquet hall which we call Hewett Centre which is served by a full scale kitchen. Nearby are our accessible washroom facilities. Behind this space is our intimate meeting room called Fireside Room.
Our campus also has many other meeting spaces, meditation room, rolling large screen TV, sound system available throughout, with the ability to livestream. There is free Wifi, and natural light in all spaces.

We are centrally located on major bus routes and near rapid transit, 15 minutes by vehicle to both YVR International Airport and downtown Vancouver.

My husband and I had always planned to get married in a church. We checked out many different churches and finally decided on the Unitarian Church of Vancouver. The Unitarian Church of Vancouver is very bright and has a lot of space, and the main color of the church is wood tones with bright glass. The outside of the church has a lot of tall trees and greenery, just like a small garden.
We have had the opportunity to host a number of events in the Sanctuary over the past year. From the first time we toured the facility, the staff of the Unitarian Church have been accommodating, gracious and wonderful to work with.
The Sanctuary has excellent acoustics and a very warm and welcoming energy that is the perfect fit for the performances that we tend to host. The sound and lighting systems are top notch as are the technicians recommended to us by the venue. In the course of working together, we have appreciated their openness and willingness to work with our team to ensure the best experience for our artists and audience members alike.
