Children of All Ages – Special Sunday
Why is Easter a bigger deal to many Christians than Christmas? What is the hype and where does the Easter Bunny fit in? Most Unitarian Universalists do not grow up reading Bible stories or attending Mass, so we don’t easily gain the cultural knowledge of these stories. Sophia Lyon Fahs was a Unitarian Religious Educator in the first half of the 20th century and wrote new versions of the old Bible stories for children with questioning minds. She leaves behind myth and miracle to delve into the lessons and values we can take with us today.
Join us on Easter Sunday, March 31st, for some UU Easter Explorations through story, reader’s theatre, and a little outdoor hunting. Please RSVP below so we can prepare appropriately.
