East Vancouver is hotter in summer than the west side of Vancouver. Why? Primarily the lack of shade from the tree canopy.  Shouldn’t the City of Vancouver prioritize more big trees on the east side? Oliver Gatzke would like the City of Vancouver to consider this issue. Come and find out why.
