Awakening the Earth: Awakening Ourselves

Dances are held the first Tuesday of every month.  Our Theme for March is Awakening the Earth: Awakening Ourselves.

Our February dance was cancelled due to snow and icy conditions. Early March is well past Imbolc – the mid-point of winter – and while we will be just a couple of weeks away from the spring equinox, we are still in the space between winter and spring.  Rebecca Douglas says that “The liminal energy of Imbolc, the space and threshold between winter and spring, hold profound lessons for how we navigate change in our own lives. It reminds us that growth often begins in subtle, unseen ways, and that embracing these transitions can lead to transformation.”

Through dance, we will explore how this liminal energy can provide guidance to us through these difficult times. Leslie, Mairy and Tamiko will be sharing dances and we invite you to join us!
