Considering Matthew Shepard: A Choral Suite by Craig Hella Johnson
Please join the Chalice Choir to experience this important work (which we believe to be a Vancouver premiere). Considering Matthew Shepard was written as a 20th anniversary tribute to Matthew Shepard, a gay college student who was murdered in Laramie, Wyoming in 1998. In these days of increasing intolerance, we believe this music to be more important than ever. The evening will conclude with choir favourites to celebrate Donna Brown’s final concert as Chalice Choir director.
