Matters of Life and Death

On Sunday, October 27th, at 1:00pm, Rev. Shawn will initiate an ongoing series of occasional programs under the heading “Matters of Life & Death”. Roughly once per month, typically on a Sunday afternoon, we’ll host workshops and discussions on various aspects of aging and end-of-life concerns, drawing on the wisdom of VanU members and the expertise of guest speakers from the wider community.
The upcoming sessions will range from the deeply philosophical to the immediately practical, covering everything from aging gracefully to guidance on preparing wills and health-care directives. This month, Rev. Shawn’s session will be on the topic “Living for a Good Death.” All are welcome.
