‘We Are The Great Turning’ Sunday podcast discussion group

A young activist, Jess Serrante, has created a 10-part podcast entitled ‘We Are The Great Turning‘ with the revered 95 year-old activist, Joanna Macy. She approached Joanna about sharing her work in this way, and Joanna agreed, being aware of her limited time left on this earth, and her awareness of how important it is to get The Work That Reconnects out into the world in these deeply troubled times. She recommends strongly that this work be done in community.

Jess and Joanna are imagining us all there with them sitting at Joanna’s kitchen table. Hearing Joanna’s voice as she shares her deep, expansive wisdom is deeply moving and her process is very helpful in processing the fear and grief many of us are experiencing, so that it can move us to action in a challenge mindset rather than reactivity or shutdown in fear and grief. The podcast includes much more than just words, but includes the experiential elements as are shared in the 2 day retreat. Join me in Biddle at 12:30 every first Sunday beginning on November 3rd.
