On Saturday, November 2nd, Vancouver Unitarians will host a much-loved and anticipated evening fundraising event: a live auction and social evening in Hewett Centre.
A selection of time and talent services will also be available for silent auction bidding in Hewett Centre on three consecutive Sundays: October 13, 20 and 27.
Not only will this raise much-needed deficit-busting funds for VanU, but it also presents an interesting and creative opportunity to make new connections within the congregation. We welcome your participation as an auction donor or buyer.

How the auction will work
Silent auction item bid sheets will be available in Hewett Centre on three consecutive Sundays: October 13, 20 and 27. The winning bidder will be announced during the live auction or will be contacted by phone or email and will be asked for full payment within 30 days.
Live auction bidders will provide their name and contact information at registration and will receive a bidding paddle. A live auctioneer will conduct the auction.
Payment
As the auction progresses, a cumulative record of each bidder’s winning bid will be kept. Volunteers will be available in the Lindsey-Priestley Room to take payment when you finish bidding for the evening. Payment can be made by cheque, credit card, or e-transfer.
All sales are final. Arrangements concerning time and place of service, where necessary, are to be made between donor and buyer.
