Circle Dance: Embracing the Darkness, Honouring the Ancestors

In our part of the world the harvest is finished, and we are halfway between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice. Samhain marks the beginning of winter in Gaelic Ireland and is a time to honour our ancestors. We will mark this transition by going deep: exploring the darkness of longer nights and shorter days, knowing that the light and new life will return.
We will share dances that invite reflection and honour ancestors. All dances are taught and “there are no wrong steps, only variations.” We welcome new and experienced dancers to our circle!
