Sunday Service: Flower Communion

Rev. Shawn Gauthier and Laureen Stokes
Amid the glories of spring in Vancouver, we gather for our traditional Flower Communion ritual to celebrate our community. From hand to hand, we will pass flowers that symbolize the unique qualities each of us bring to make up the rich diversity of our congregation. Please plan to bring a fresh flower or two to share in this ritual. If you’re participating in the service online, consider having a flower or other some bit of nature that you can use in the ritual.

We gather every Sunday morning at 11am in our Sanctuary at 49th and Oak and online at vanu.ca/live. Worship creates connections within, among, and beyond us, calling us to our better selves, calling us to live with wisdom and compassion.
After service, we gather in Hewett Centre for Coffee and Social Hour. Families with children and newcomers are always welcome!
