Forum on Homelessness

Oct 26, 2025 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Vancouver has 3200 people with no fixed address, and homeless counts are increasing every year. The Carnegie Housing Project works to address these issues with residents and service providers in the Downtown Eastside, but the need is the same across Turtle Island.

Join Phoenix Winter (member of VanU GEM group), Kevin Conrod, Max Campbell, Kabir and others with the Carnegie Housing Project to talk about how the housing crisis got to this state, what it’s like to survive in it, and what it will take to actually change things.

Bring open ears and open hearts, and let’s work together so we can come up with some ideas and plans for action.

Sponsored by the IPA (Indigenous, Black, People of Colour Plus Allies) and Social Justice Teams
