Fundraising Concert: Historical Performance Ensemble

Be transported to the Court Theatre of Louis XIV in a 45 minute programme of Baroque Dance and Music performed in period costumes.
Music is played live on actual instruments from the period or modern reproductions. All dances are from notations written 1660 to 1725, or newly created based on Baroque step repertoire and rules of arm usage.
Performed works will be interspersed and illuminated by AD Catherine Lee who will give short explanations of various aspects of what you will experience. Bring your children and grandchildren too!

It’s time to get a new piano for this beautiful space – and we know that VWMS members, guests and performers will appreciate this upgrade. We have a good start to our fundraising campaign and we are hoping that you might be interested in making a donation towards this important purchase.
We still need $10,000 to $20,000 to ensure that we get the best possible instrument, as well as insurance and care for it. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
