Linda Lineman – Celebration of Life

A memorial celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 1pm on January 31, 2026 at Vancouver Unitarians, 949 W 49th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5Z 2T1 with a fellowship reception to follow.

Friends and family are welcome to attend and share memories. She was interred in the Lineman family plot in a private ceremony at Mountain View Cemetery in Vancouver.

May she rest in peace, forever cherished and never forgotten.

Linda Lineman

The family and friends of Linda Arlene Lineman are much saddened by her passing on June 29, 2023 at the age of 76.

Linda was born to Lawrence and Lily (Neufeld) Lineman and joyfully welcomed to the family on March 11, 1947 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Linda moved with her family to Vancouver in 1950 and spent the rest of her life there. She used to claim that she “grew web feet and gills so she would fit in on the Wet Coast”. Fit in, she did, building a successful career with BC Housing Residential Tenancy Branch. “She was gone too early and we will all miss her intelligence, quick wit, accepting heart and humanity. The world is a lesser place without her.”

Linda was predeceased by her parents and her brother James. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Lee and the extended family, including among them, The Taylors, Bitners and Linemans, as well as many dear friends and work colleagues. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
