Matters of Life and Death

For our next session of our occasional series on issues pertaining to aging and end-of-life concerns, Rev. Shawn welcomes Dr. Paula Flynn for a conversation about how we document our wishes for our care as our life comes to a close—and why we sometimes resist this sacred task.

Dr. Paula Flynn is a recently retired Vancouver family doctor who has worked primarily in community mental health for the past 25 years. She has studied many aspects of advanced care planning, and is dedicated to helping people and their families of choice have conversations about life transitions and end of life, and guiding them in the necessary documentation.
