Spiritual Autobiography Workshop for the 55+

The main goal of the workshop is to offer tools and stimuli that will help you to reexamine your life experiences in a creative way; find spiritual meanings and threads in your actions, choices, recollections, desires, projects, and legacies.

Revisiting the phases of your lives will help you retrieve memories, emotions, loved ones and significant objects, and understand what you want to pass on to new generations. On a spiritual level, the “third and fourth age” can be viewed not only as a gateway to wisdom but also, and more importantly, as an opportunity for transformative roles and unexplored potential.

Rita Cavigioli is Professor Emerita at the University of Missouri- Columbia. She also holds the diploma of “Expert in the facilitation of autobiographical workshops and the collection of life stories” from LUA (Libera Università dell’Autobiografia). She has offered autobiographical workshops to various audiences, particularly in continuing education institutes.

The workshop will consist of ten meetings running from 4 to 6 pm every Monday and Thursday beginning on Monday, May 11 (additional dates include May 14, May 18, May 21, May 25, May 28, June 1, June 4, June 8, and June 11).
