Sunday Forum: Housing Justice and Reconciliation in the Downtown Eastside

The Vancouver Unitarians are proud to host Amanda Burrows, Executive Director of First United, for a presentation and discussion on housing justice and reconciliation in the Downtown Eastside.

In her work for housing justice, Amanda has been a prominent advocate for affordable housing, tenant protections, and in opposition to displacement of DTES residents. In her work with First United, Amanda has helped spearhead a multi-storey redevelopment of their historic property in partnership with an Indigenous housing provider.
