Sunday Service: Beginning Again in Love

This week, our Jewish friends and neighbours are celebrating the new year with Rosh Hashanah, while moving towards Yom Kippur. This period of ten days, known as the Days of Awe, invites introspection and reconciliation. It is a time to seek forgiveness where it is needed. A time to put one’s spiritual house in order as a new year begins. As we launch a new year—and a new chapter—in the life of the congregation, Rev. Shawn will invite us to take up a similar practice, that we might “begin again in love.”
