”I grew up in the 1930’s and 40’s, which include the time of WWII. I saw people cope with struggles that seemed overwhelming. Where did people find their strength to carry on? Religious people impressed me most; they not only found strength in their belief in God, they also found comfort. I found that path impenetrable but over the course of my life I found a winding path of my own.’
