Sunday Service: Water Communion

This Sunday, we celebrate our Water Communion ritual and the ingathering of the VanU community (be sure to bring a bit of water!), with the first of our Exploration Sundays. We’ll welcome back the Chalice Choir, Elliott, and David, as well as Janet Pivnick, our Intern Minister for the next two years.
Following the service, a quick and simple lunch will be available in Hewett Hall, followed by a choice among three 75-minute programs:
- Storytelling Games: Community-Building through Play, with Kiersten in the Alcove
- UU History Timeline: Where Do We Come From?, with Shawn in the Fireside Room
- Listening Circle on the State of the World, with the Healthy Relations Team in Lindsey-Priestley

We gather every Sunday morning at 11am in our Sanctuary at 49th and Oak and online at vanu.ca/live. Worship creates connections within, among, and beyond us, calling us to our better selves, calling us to live with wisdom and compassion.
After service, we gather in Hewett Centre for Coffee and Social Hour. Families with children and newcomers are always welcome!
