Sunday Service: UN Sunday
Michael Clague, Janet Pivnick, and the UN Association in Canada
Today we will celebrate the Unitarian ties with the United Nations. We will hear from Michael Clague, who has had a long-standing affiliation with the UN, about the roots and current realities of the organization in a world in turmoil. The United Nations Association will present the annual John Gibbard award given to a student “in recognition of their dedication and commitment to working for humanity and a better world”.

We gather every Sunday morning at 11am in our Sanctuary at 49th and Oak and online at vanu.ca/live. Worship creates connections within, among, and beyond us, calling us to our better selves, calling us to live with wisdom and compassion.
After service, we gather in Hewett Centre for Coffee and Social Hour. Families with children and newcomers are always welcome!
