Volunteer Orientation for Summer Children’s Group

Vancouver Unitarians is largely lay-led over the summer while ministry staff have vacation and study time in preparation for the new program year.  It is important for children of all ages to feel included and cared for no matter what time of year they attend.

This orientation is to support those able to volunteer to be available for children on 2 or more Sundays between July 6th and August 31st. Orientation is offered on two dates: Thursday, June 26th at 5:30 pm, and Sunday, June 29th at 12:45 pm.

*All volunteers who work with children or youth require a police record check for the vulnerable sector current within three years.* There is no cost for volunteers.
