Alex Okrainetz grew up attending the North Shore Unitarian Church and has been working with Youth at VanU since 2017. Alex has worked for the Canadian Unitarian Council coordinating the annual national youth conference (CanUUdle).
She has a degree in Anthropology and has recently returned to UBC to study Social Work after working in health care for several years.
Alex is passionate about social and environmental justice, decolonization, and building strong intergenerational communities. In her spare time you can find her catching up with friends, seeing live music, or thrifting.
