We are located at the north-east corner of Oak Street and 49th Avenue.
Our three buildings are clustered around a beautiful open courtyard.
All areas are wheelchair accessible.
Getting to VanU
Public Transit and Parking
A heritage venue in the heart of Vancouver, our VanU campus is centrally-located and accessible.
Bus routes 17 and 49 both have stops at 49th Ave and Oak Street. The nearest skytrain station is a 5-minute walk or roll east at Cambie and 49th.
Our parking lot has capacity for 40 cars including four designated accessibility spaces, We have three bike racks for a total of 24 bicycle spaces. There is also free parking on Fremlin Street directly adjacent to the east end of campus.
Looking for directions?
Google Maps will give you door-to-door directions for driving, walking, biking, or public transit. We’re also working on organizing Sunday morning carpools to minimize the carbon footprint of getting to VanU.

The Sanctuary has state-of-the-art equipment, including multiple cameras for livestreamed events, and our space has recently been upgraded with new floors and versatile seating with 300+ capacity.
