Bridging to Adulthood

A small group for our oldest youth, gathering to support them in a time of transition in their lives, (finishing high school or just graduated, 17-19 year olds).

This program, which we often call the “Bridging Program” tries to offer whatever our oldest teens need at the time. Here are the building blocks we can pick and choose from…

  • Mentorship: valuable relationships with youth advisors who are invested in our kids’ lives
  • UU Wellspring: spiritual practices and learning based on our six UU sources.
  • OWL for Grades 10-12: age appropriate sexuality education, covering sexual health, relationships, intimacy, and gender.
  • Practical help: post secondary decisions and application help, as well as practicing important life skills like cooking and budgeting
