To donate to VanU by text, send a message to 778 771 1707 on your smartphone.
If it’s your first time donating by text, you’ll be given a link and asked to supply your payment method:
- credit card
- debit card
- bank account
This payment source will then be linked with your phone number (and you can change it later).
To donate by text
Simply text the amount you’d like to give to the number. So, to donate $5, send a text to 778 771 1707 with 5 in the message. This will donate $5 to the VanU open collection.
Once you’ve donated, you’ll receive a text confirming that your gift has been received successfully and giving you the option to cancel the donation.
You can also direct text donations to particular VanU groups. To do this, enter an amount followed by one of the following tags.
Example:
Texting 10 Refugee will donate $10 to the VanU Refugee Committee Fund.
